Job Description

The HT Group is seeking a Contract Compliance Technician for a 4 to 6-month contract assignment based in Baytown, TX. Must be able to work on site - ** NO PER DIEM**and must be authorized to work without sponsorship.
The schedule will be Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, with a possible 7am start time (to be confirmed). The pay rate starts at $28+hr DOE. Overtime may be required or expected.
Responsibilities:
** NO PER DIEM*
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide LPS/LPO feedback
Review and update Job Safety Analyses (JSA) as needed
Order and manage safety equipment and materials
Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and approved chemical lists
Report all safety incidents and conduct investigations, including RCA
Conduct regular safety walks and quality reviews of safety procedures
Assist and coach site safety personnel and enforce safety protocols
Maintain safety records and documentation for compliance
Attend and contribute to safety and stewardship meetings
Participate in training and ensure adherence to safety policies
Exhibit strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service
Work independently to ensure tasks are completed safely and on time
Qualifications:
Previous experience working inside a plant environment
Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accurate record-keeping
Ability to multitask and work independently
Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) knowledge with a degree or trade school background preferred
Active TWIC card required
Must complete ISTC and DISA training prior to starting
