Customer Service Representative (Temp-to-Hire)

We're currently supporting a client seeking a
Customer Service Representative to join their growing team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment. Hours: Monday through Thursday 11:30am to 8pm onsite, Fridays working from home and occasional Saturday 8-4 every 3rd week rotation. The role will begin on a temporary basis with strong potential to convert to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and accuracy.
Process orders, returns, billing adjustments, address changes, and account updates.
Provide order status updates, resolve delivery issues, and manage customer expectations.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely, complete system updates.
Communicate customer feedback and trends to supervisors and management.
Stay informed on company systems, products, and policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in an inbound call center environment required.
Excellent communication skills, including grammar, tone, and diction.
Strong listening skills and ability to handle customer concerns with empathy.
Proven reliability and consistent attendance record.
Demonstrated ability to meet call center metrics (talk time, after-call work, calls per hour, and quality).
Proficiency with PC-based systems and data entry.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
