Embedded C++ Developer with Python @Sandiego, CA

Skills/Experience

• Requires Minimum of BS in Computer Science, or other related eng or science fields. MS or Ph.D in relevant field is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical development role
• Experience in leadership or designing software for a complex multi-processor distributed control system is a plus.
• Proven ability to guide a team in coding efforts for a distributed control system. The coding will require programming in different languages (C++, Python) on different OS environments (Linux, Unix or RTOS).
• Delivered 3+ mid to large scale software projects with demonstrable quality
• Hands on experience with refactoring for performance and scalability – complex multi-processor distributed control system is a plus.
• Curious and current on emerging software methodologies

Must have:

1. Strong experience with C++
2. Experience with OO design
3. Experience with socket programming of network client and server, including TCP
4. Experience with OS configuration and bring up
5. Experience with BSP configuration
6. Experience with multi-threaded application development
7. Experience with unit testing
8. Experience with Linux-based development environment

Good to have

1. Experience with freeRTOS
2. Experience with Embedded Linux customization
3. Experience with SoC platform
4. Experience with CPU performance monitoring
5. Experience with gtest, gmock
6. Experience with tftpboot
7. Experience with python
8. Experience with test driven development
9. Experience with ARM architecture
10. Experience with JTAG programming
11. Experience with Xilinx SoC platform
