Job Description

If you are a Heavy Equipment Operator with civil experience in the construction world, we would love to talk to you!

Make an Impact. Move the Earth. Protect the Environment.

Are you a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with experience on civil infrastructure or environmental construction sites? Do you want to do meaningful work that restores ecosystems, protects communities, and supports clean air and water? Join a mission-driven construction team that’s reshaping the way we build — and rebuild — the world around us.

About Us: We’re a fully integrated environmental construction company delivering turnkey, self-perform solutions to complex challenges in soil, vapor, air, and water remediation. Our clients include both public and private-sector organizations, and our work spans:

  • Soil & groundwater remediation
  • Decommissioning/demolition
  • Waterway and sensitive habitat restoration
  • Water, wastewater & stormwater treatment

This is real, boots-on-the-ground work that protects the planet and public health.

What You’ll Do: As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll be part of our earth-moving operations on environmental remediation sites. You’ll operate a variety of equipment — including excavators, dozers, backhoes, compactors, articulated dump trucks, and front-end loaders — with precision and care.

You’ll be based out of our Anaheim, CA office and travel to local job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment (CAT or John Deere controls) safely and skillfully
  • Follow cut and fill stake guidance to meet grading specs
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance and inspections
  • Monitor equipment load capacity and operate within safe limits
  • Work in a team-focused environment with safety as the top priority

What You Bring:

Must-Have Skills:

  • 4+ years’ experience operating heavy equipment on civil or public infrastructure projects
  • Hands-on knowledge of excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, dump trucks, etc.
  • HAZWOPER 40-Hour certification + 8-Hour Refresher (or willingness to obtain)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to operating safely for long periods
  • Understanding of equipment limitations, load balance, and site safety

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operations
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience reading grading plans and interpreting cut and fill stakes

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Be part of a tight-knit team doing essential work in environmental restoration
  • Take pride in visible, tangible results of your labor
  • Work with well-maintained equipment and experienced site leads
  • Grow your career with an established company invested in safety, training, and development
  • Stay local — most projects are within commuting distance

Ready to Get in the Driver’s Seat?

If you’re motivated by hard work, heavy machinery, and high-impact projects, we want to hear from you. Apply today to join a team where your equipment skills are more than just technical — they help protect our future.
