Job Title: Litigation Legal Secretary
Location: Onsite - Santa Ana Office
Salary Range: $55,000 - $85,000 annually

Overview:
A busy litigation team is seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Secretary with at least two years of experience in a law firm setting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in MS Word and Excel. This role supports attorneys and/or paralegals with a wide range of administrative and legal tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, transcribe, proofread, and file court documents and legal correspondence
• E-file documents with local, state, federal, and appellate courts; assist with paper filings
• Manage incoming/outgoing mail for assigned attorneys
• Maintain team and court calendars; track deadlines and scheduled events
• Schedule meetings, depositions, conference calls, and travel arrangements
• Prepare trial and mediation binders and other hard-copy materials
• Communicate professionally with clients, court officials, and internal teams
• Enter attorney time and assist with billing and expense reports
• Maintain and organize legal files
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
• Provide support to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of litigation secretarial or paralegal experience in a law firm
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Experience with e-filing systems , hourly billing , and client legal departments
• Familiarity with insurance defense , PI , or professional malpractice is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
