  • Over 4,000 Full-Time Associates across the Supply Chain

The Inventory Optimization team is looking for an Inventory Planner to play a critical role in helping drive business decisions while providing actionable and strategic insights into leadership. The team works closely with internal cross-functional business partners – Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Merchandising, eCommerce, Finance, IT and many others - to identify and implement strategies to reduce our inventory through identification and execution of new strategic initiatives, data analysis, reporting and forecasting. We are looking for someone who is a true owner of their business and will contribute creative new ideas.

The Inventory Planner is located in San Francisco, CA. This role has some hybrid availability.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Play a key role in driving strategic projects and analyzing a variety of business problems while working with cross-functional teams
  • Summarize and analyze data sets that will enable multiple functional areas to hit key milestones and help business leaders make quality strategic business decisions related to reducing DC inventory
  • Help determine product order quantities and timing of order placement to support sales plans
  • Have a desire and willingness to work collaboratively in a group
  • Analyze industry’s best practices and conduct competitive research to influence long term changes to business strategy
  • Quickly and efficiently run Ad-Hoc analysis to support leadership decision making

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in Business Strategy, Analysis or Merchandising/Inventory Planning
  • Experienced with Excel and SQL, understanding of WMS and BI reporting platforms (MSTR, QLIK, Power BI)
  • Able to drive to deadlines, anticipates and addresses conflicts, negotiates well, and delivers great outcomes
  • Energized by complex problems and find satisfaction in solving them through a mixture of curiosity, analysis and resourcefulness

We prefer some of these qualities as well….

  • Strong experience with MicroStrategy Developer/Architect and dashboard/dossier creation
  • Mastery in Excel, strong proficiency in SQL data mining
  • 5 years in Retail, Supporting Retail Management
