Legal Counsel Specialist (Immigration & Child Labor)

Position Overview:
This position will report to the head of a global team of lawyers and legal professionals that advise on a variety of legal areas, specifically relating to child labor and immigration compliance, globally. The team is collaborative and operates in different specialization and regional groups, so this role will provide support across several subject matter areas, with different team members.
Responsibilities:
· Advise and execute on immigration related guidance for a variety of countries, most commonly the US, Canada, Australia.
· Advise on child labor related guidance and execute tasks in support of those needs, such as fi ling child labor permits or court affirmations.
· Prepare and update letters in support of immigration or child labor needs, e.g., expedite requests, travel confirmation letters, etc.
· Execute additional legal research and organizational tasks as needed.
Requirements:
· Experience providing guidance to stakeholders and exercising sound judgment.
· The ability to calibrate communication style and guidance to varying needs.
· The ability to multi-task, while preserving attention to detail, and executing problem-solving skills.
· International legal research capabilities.
Nice to Haves or Preferred Skills:
· Immigration experience, film/tv production experience, legal/law fi rm experience.
Pay Rate Range:
· $65-100/hr
