Job Description
We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer in the Charlotte area that’s looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to their team. This role will oversee daily maintenance operations within a modern, high-performing production environment—focused on equipment reliability, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager , this individual will lead a skilled maintenance crew and collaborate with operations, quality, and fabrication teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and uptime across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
- Support and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs , including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) .
- Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to strengthen team performance and accountability.
- Manage spare parts inventory—forecasting, ordering, and negotiating costs.
- Coordinate complex repairs and manage subcontractors for specialized work.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards.
- Track and report key maintenance metrics such as OEE, downtime, and cost performance .
- Partner cross-functionally to identify process improvement opportunities and reduce equipment-related downtime.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
- B.S. in Reliability, Maintenance, or Facilities Engineering Preferred, NOT Required
- Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, PLC's
- Proven ability to plan maintenance operations, manage teams, and meet performance goals.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience developing maintenance programs and driving equipment reliability.

- Equipment uptime / Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Planned vs. unplanned maintenance ratio
- PM and regulatory compliance rates
- First-time pass rate / rework percentage
- Spare parts availability and cost control
