Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY / MISSION

The Pharmacy Network and Patient Support Analyst plays a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making across pharmacy and network operations. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytical models to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), perform reconciliations, and support the operations of pharmacy and copay programs. The analyst will work with large datasets to uncover trends, identify anomalies, and generate actionable insights that enhance departmental performance.

Key responsibilities include the ongoing management of reporting requirements and documentation related to copay assistance, pharmacy monitoring, and inventory oversight. The role also involves integrating new business analytics requests into the reporting infrastructure and contributing to strategic initiatives that influence channel strategy and improve patient access. This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration and participation in project-based work across departments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement analytical tools to support access program management, pharmacy compliance, and dispense data analysis.
  • Oversee monthly invoicing and scheduled reconciliations in alignment with audit and compliance standards.
  • Manage pharmacy shipment allocations and coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers; support inventory audits for pharmacies and internal stakeholders.
  • Support pharmacy network management , including onboarding, performance monitoring, and recommendations for partner additions or removals.
  • Foster strong relationships with pharmacy partners and internal business stakeholders through consistent communication and support.
  • Develop and deliver recurring reports on market trends and sales performance (weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses using prescription, patient, pharmacy, insurance, and sales data to support business needs.
  • Apply advanced modeling techniques to analyze geographic market dynamics, including resource allocation, managed care variations, copay sensitivity, and sales force effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate expertise in pharmaceutical data sources , such as IMS/IQVIA, EDI 852/867, and copay adjudication platforms (e.g., ConnectiveRx).
  • Contribute to channel planning processes by providing analytical insights to senior leadership, including data interpretation, forecasting, and process optimization.
  • Enhance reporting efficiency through automation and continuous process improvement.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for both internal workflows and external partnerships.
  • Identify and resolve complex challenges , developing innovative solutions to ensure strategic goals and operational objectives are achieved.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Healthcare, Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare environment
