A partner of Insight Global, located in Norcross, GA is looking to add several production operators to their team. The solar cell manufacturer is seeking a Production Operator to join our dynamic and diverse team. They will operate production tools and processes to consistently meet daily objectives in Photovoltaic cells production following required safety and quality standards. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment. The organization will operate as a 24/7 facility with a rotating schedule. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a manufacturing environment, able to work independently and on a team. The operators are responsible for operating production tools and processes to consistently meet daily objectives in the production of Photovoltaic cells following required safety and quality standards as directed by team lead and supervisor.

Shift Options :

- 6:45am-7:15pm

- 6:45pm-7:15am

(rotating schedule, must be comfortable working weekends)

Each pay period they will have 8 hours of “scheduled” overtime due to rotation layout

Pay Rate:

• Days shift: 23.00/hr
• Night shift pay differential: 10% = $2.30/hr = $25.30/hr

Requirements :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact with automated equipment with computer interfaces
• Hands on experience working on a manufacturing line as an operator
• Positive attitude and ability to treat all team members respectfully

Plusses:

• Experience in Photovoltaic or other Semiconductor manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Transport product from one operation to the next
• Work with maintenance and engineering to troubleshoot equipment and process problems
• Work with both previous and following shifts to make smooth shift transitions
• Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings
• Exhibit proficiency in operating designated tools in the work area
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities consistent with company objectives
• Produce finished products within quality specifications and desired yield
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and quality, including the 5S system
• Communicate and assist with troubleshooting production issues as they arise
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by team lead, supervisor, or management

• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to; steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron, and arm guards)
