Job Description

Airswift is seeking an experienced Electrical and I&C Project Manager to support a long-term assignment with a leading nuclear energy provider.

Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing site-based Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) projects from initiation through to closeout. This includes leading project planning and execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager will report through the Nuclear Projects organization and must be able to obtain unescorted access to the facility, meeting all nuclear badging requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Electrical and I&C-focused projects through all phases: initiation, design, execution (field implementation), and closeout.
• Adhere to station processes and project management best practices.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and field implementation teams.
• Review and monitor Primavera P6 project schedules.
• Support projects during both online and outage conditions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing electrical and I&C projects.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects within nuclear facilities or highly regulated environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
• Strong knowledge of online and outage project scheduling.
• Familiarity with P6 schedule review and analysis.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and build rapport with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in the nuclear industry .
• Prior nuclear site access and familiarity with nuclear compliance requirements.
