Job Description

Role Overview Tumbling River Ranch is seeking a dedicated Ranch Hand to support the daily operations and maintenance of our ranch. This hands-on role involves livestock care, land management, and equipment upkeep. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for agriculture and a commitment to sustainable practices. Responsibilities

• Assist in daily care and feeding of livestock, ensuring proper nutrition and health.
• Conduct regular health checks and report concerns to management.
• Maintain ranch facilities and equipment in safe, working condition.
• Participate in land management tasks such as fencing, irrigation, and crop care.
• Support breeding and calving processes using best animal husbandry practices.
• Collaborate with the team to implement sustainable farming methods.
• Keep accurate records of livestock health, feeding schedules, and ranch activities.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with livestock on a ranch or farm.
• Strong knowledge of animal husbandry.
• Ability to safely operate farm machinery and tools.
• Physical stamina for manual labor in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of sustainable farming practices.
• Experience with breeding, calving, and basic veterinary care.
• Mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with farm equipment operation and maintenance.
• Understanding of land management techniques.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
