Akkodis is proud to partner with a client who is seeking a Remote Diagnostic Specialist (RDS) Agent (Level 1) for a contractual (W2) opportunity in Plymouth, MI . This position is fully onsite and requires the flexibility to work the following shifts.

7:30am – 4:00pm

9:30am – 6:00pm

10:30am – 7:00pm

11:00am – 7:30pm

1:00pm – 9:30pm

Rate Range: $23.50/hour - $23.50/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

We are seeking Remote Diagnostic Specialist (RDS) Agents (Level 1) to provide high-quality, chat-only customer service. This is not a phone-based role. Agents will support field service technicians by working through a chatbot system. The role requires precision, professionalism, and a strong focus on quality over speed.

Agents will be responsible for manually building tickets, assisting customers via chat, and ensuring a smooth, accurate process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent chat-only customer service with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Assist field service technician through chatbot-guided processes.
• Manually build and manage tickets within the system.
• Maintain professional communication, empathy, and technical clarity.
• Work collaboratively with team members and Safelite staff to resolve issues

Required Skills & Experience

• Automotive diagnostic experience with scan tools
• Understanding of automotive diagnostics and DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes).
• Prior scan tool experience (OE software experience is a strong plus).
• Previous work beyond basic oil changes/tire shops preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional, positive attitude.
• Tech-savvy with solid computer skills and ability to adapt to new systems.

Additional Details

• Must be able to work onsite in Plymouth, MI for the first 5 months. Hybrid schedule maybe available after training.
• Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (no overtime). Candidates must be available for occasional Saturdays.
