RWPZ is currently recruiting a part-time, seasonal, non-exempt Exhibit Interpreter. Exhibit Interpreters enhance the guest experience at key areas throughout the Zoo through regular interactions with guests, active interpretation at exhibits, and informal educational programs. Exhibit Interpreters are also responsible for monitoring guest safety at assigned areas.
RWPZ is currently recruiting for full- time, seasonal, exempt Adventures ZooCamp Counselors . Adventure ZooCamp Counselors are responsible for supervising, guiding, and teaching children ages 6-10 as they learn about animals and experience the Zoo. ZooCamp Counselors also mentor and evaluate teen volunteers, ages 12-17.
RWPZ is currently recruiting for part-time, seasonal, exempt Afternoon Assistant ZooCamp Administrator . The Afternoon Assistant ZooCamp Administrator is primarily responsible for supporting the Zoo Camp Administrator in the operation of camp programs for youth ages 4-17 in the Winter, Spring, Summer & some holidays.
RWPZ is currently recruiting a full-time, seasonal, exempt, ZooCamp Conservation Heroes Counselor. ZooCamp Conservation Heroes Counselor is responsible for assisting the Lead Conservation Heroes ZooCamp Counselor as they empower campers ages 11-14 to become leaders in conservation through teambuilding and leadership activities, engagement in inquiry activities, games, encounters with wild animal ambassadors, visits to animal exhibits and outdoor exploration.
RWPZ is currently recruiting for a full-time, seasonal, exempt ZooCamp Tadpole Academy Counselor. Tadpole Academy Counselors are responsible for supervising, guiding, and teaching children ages 4-5 as they learn about animals and experience the Zoo. ZooCamp Tadpole Academy Counselors also mentor and evaluate teen volunteers, ages 12-17.
RWPZ is currently recruiting a full-time, seasonal, exempt, Inclusion Specialist. The Inclusion Specialist will support ZooCamp staff in integrating campers with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs into an inclusive, curriculum-driven camp environment. The Inclusion Specialist will support staff & volunteer training, implementation of behavior plans and supports, and act as a liaison between ZooCamp staff and camper parents.
